Our product
We use underwater cameras, computer vision, and machine learning to give fish farmers real-time insight into fish health, weight, and feeding. Our solution combines hardware, cloud processing, and a user-facing application.
The role
We are looking for a Bergen-based Global HR Director to take ownership of HR across Aquabyte. This role combines strategic responsibility with hands-on execution.
You will lead HR operations in Norway while developing global HR policies and frameworks across regions. You will partner with leadership on talent planning, organizational development, and culture, while ensuring efficient day-to-day HR operations. The role reports to the CFO.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement HR processes and policies
Partner with leadership on talent planning and organizational development
Support leaders and employees across regions
Drive hiring, onboarding, and people initiatives
Lead HR operations in Norway while supporting and aligning HR across the US and Chile
Qualifications
Experience from a global or scaling organization
Strong execution skills combined with a strategic mindset
Genuine interest in people, culture, and employee experience
Structured, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working both operationally and strategically
Experience with HR systems and data-driven decision-making
Strong communication skills in English (Norwegian is an advantage)
