Director Business Development
Building a New Offshore Helicopter Operator

A joint venture between Airlift and NHV is evaluating the launch of a new offshore aviation company with the ambition to become a strong and competitive market alternative through flexibility, customer focus, and next-generation technology.
To support this exciting initiative, we are seeking an experienced Director Business Development on a project-based engagement. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping a new business from concept to operational reality, helping to ensure sustainable, long-term commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the new venture.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development activities with operational capabilities and strategic objectives.
Contribute to the development of the business model, market positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
Support commercial negotiations and strategic partnership development.
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Provide market intelligence and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Play a key role in the transition from business concept to an operational company, helping to ensure sustainable, long-term commercial success.
Experience
We are looking for candidates with:
A proven track record in business development, commercial leadership, strategy, or market development.
Experience developing and executing successful commercial growth strategies.
Strong experience from offshore energy, aviation, maritime, or related industries.
Demonstrated ability to identify and convert business opportunities into commercial results.
Experience building trusted relationships with customers, partners, and senior stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen combined with strategic thinking and a hands-on approach.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
The ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
